TERMS AND CONDITIONS The following terms and conditions provide information about our company and the legal terms and conditions under which we sell our products from our website WWW.DRAWKING.COM to you, the customer. Any reference to ‘we’ or ‘us’ refers to Lyceum Gifts Ltd and reference to ‘you’ refers to the purchasing customer.
The following terms and conditions apply to the use of the website WWW.DRAWKING.COM and any contract or purchase of our products by you. It is important that you read and fully comprehend the following terms and conditions. By using the website and/or purchasing our products you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions and indicate that you are in acceptance of these terms. As set out below, the terms and conditions may be amended at our discretion.
1. Information about us Lyceum Gifts Ltd is a company registered in the United Kingdom. Our company registration number is 10042180.
1.1 Contacting us: You are able to contact us using the following means:
1.2 Contacting you There may be occasions that we need to contact you during the order process, for example, to check your order information is correct. Please ensure that you provide us with up-to-date contact information (email, telephone) so that we are able to contact you if it is necessary to do so.
2. Our products
2.1 Our products are considered to be bespoke/personalised and are considered as such under consumer rights and trading laws.
2.2 The images we use on the website are completed drawings for previous customers.
2.3 We work with artists globally to produce drawings. The artists who work with us reserve the right to produce drawings using traditional means (e.g pencil/charcoal/watercolour) and modern technology (digital drawing). Artists may also use editing software for purposes such as enhancing color and contrasting.
2.4 We do not hold copies nor do we ever receive the original product from the artist. Artists use scanning technology to scan the drawing to our primary offices. This is then printed using our high resolution printers before being sent to you.
2.5 We endeavour to package our products as securely as possible to ensure they are not damaged in transit.
3. Ordering from us
3.1 When making an order from our website, we have provided useful guides to ensure you are aware of each step of the order process. These guides have been made to ensure that you are able to correctly place your order. We ask you to ensure that you adhere to these guides when making your order
3.2 You are deemed to have made an order by ordering one of the products available and entering your payment details.
4. Changing or cancelling an order
4.1 If you have placed and order and paid for one our products, you are able to cancel your order until the production of the order has commenced. In this case, once your order has been passed to the artist, we are unable to cancel your order
4.2 To change an order for a product, we advise you to contact us using one of the aforementioned contact channels. Whilst we cannot guarantee that we are able to make any changes to your order once it has been placed, we will endeavor to aid you in any changes you would like if it is possible to do so within the production timeframe.
4.3 We politely ask you to check any spellings and accuracy of any requests made when placing your order.
4.4 We politely ask that you adhere to the photograph guidelines that are available on the website before placing your order. We do not accept responsibility for submitted photographs that are of poor quality/do not accurately represent the person(s) to be drawn.
4.5 If a customer would like to make changes to their order after it has been produced, we reserve the right to agree to make any amendments. In most circumstances, we are happy to make changes; however, this is at our discretion and we cannot guarantee that any requests made by you post-production will be accommodated by us.
5. Returns and refunds.
5.1 Under consumer law, we are unable to refund personalised products.
5.2 The order placed by you consists of your product as a digital attachment (i.e your digital drawing sent to you via email/social media). This is non-refundable.
5.3 Your are able to purchase an additional paper copy of your drawing. The cost of this may be refunded if it arrives faulty or if you no longer require a paper copy.
6. Our right to cancel
6.1 We reserve the right to cancel your order at any time. A refund will be issued via the same method you paid for the product.
7.1 Delivery of your digital product is dispatched when completed.
7.2 If you have ordered an additional paper copy, this will be dispatched once approved by you.
7.3 Delivery times are advised by the delivery company used. This is usually 3-7 days after dispatch.
7.4 We do not accept responsibility for delivery times that fall outside of these guidelines. We provide tracking information for you (and us) to track your package.
7.5 At our discretion, we may send out an additional copy at our expense if we consider that a first copy of your product has been lost in transit/has not arrived in a timely manner.
8. Copyright and ownership
8.1 We retain the copyright of all products produced by us.
8.2 Purchasing a product from us means you have personal, royalty-free use of the product.
8.3 Commercial use of a product purchased from us by you may only be done so with our permission. Commercial use of a product where no permission has been granted by us is in violation of these terms and conditions.
8.4 Reproduction of our digital products is permitted without limit when done so for personal use.
8.5 All products produced by us may be used in promotional, advertising, or any other operational sense as deemed appropriate by us. You may request that your product is excluded from promotion/advertising. We are happy to adhere to such requests, though we do so at our discretion.
